The Rise of Using Brainly Apps for Learning

Home » Student Writing and Work

Use of learning apps like Brainly, In the blood, and others, it is really needed for students to get answers, at the same time to learn. During the Covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities are carried out from home with a distance learning scheme (PJJ) so that the interaction with the teacher runs indirectly and is less than optimal. The existence of the application is felt to be able to overcome this void.

Brainly users also experienced an increase in the number of users from the previous year. In year 2019 Brainly users listed approx 150 million. But in 2020, users have increased up to two times more, i.e. approx. 350 million users.

The lack of time for the teacher to explain the material is also the reason why students use this application or platform to find and understand the material presented, even those that have not been delivered by the teacher.. Students use this application to do assignments, looking for material, and as learning material.

The use of online educational platforms such as Brainly is indeed very helpful for students to answer questions that they do not understand or that are difficult. However, many students also use it during exams. It is a wrong thing because it is a form of dishonesty. other than that, the existence of this platform makes students lazy to open books and memorize. They assume all answers are in Brainly or similar app.

Thus, it can be concluded that the Brainly platform or other learning applications such as blades can have a good impact on students, but it can also be detrimental because it makes students lazy to study. Teacher's role, parent, and self-awareness of students is needed when using these various applications.
