New Student Orientation Period (MOPDB) This is an activity that is commonly carried out after the process of accepting new students (PPDB) at school. Previously, this activity was better known as OSPEK, and often becomes an arena for hazing between seniors and juniors. it, the orientation of these activities has changed. State Public High School 110 Jakarta has implemented the MOPDB process in 17 July, assisted by the school's student council and teachers' council. Coinciding with the month of Ramadan, The event opened with religious activities, such as recitation for Islamic students and devotionals for Christian students.

For the study of the Quran, The event was held at the Miftahul Ulum mosque which is inside the SMA complex 110. At the event, New students have successfully completed reading the Al-Quran up to 30 Already, guided by student affairs teachers, like Mr Syafrudin S.Pd, Mr. Drs. Supratman, and Mr. Drs. Djarot. Study event (religious) according to the Principal, Mr. Drs. H. Suharsono, M.M., is an effort to increase intellectual intelligence, emotional, and spirituality of students. “Religious activities will keep them away from bad influences and less praiseworthy traits..”, Mr Suharsono explained again during the Duha prayer time.

After performing a religious event, The next step is filling in material by the teachers regarding teaching and learning activities (KBM) at school and introduction to the environment, especially related to the facilities at the school. Students are also given an explanation of the various regulations that exist at SMAN 110, in order to help students smoothly carry out teaching and learning activities.
