PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL 110 Jakarta through extracurricular activities of the Youth Red Cross (PMR) held Vertical Rescue Training and Introduction in collaboration with BPBD DKI Jakarta Province, North Jakarta Regional Coordinator. This activity was held on Tuesday, 10 February 2026 in the high school environment 110 Jakarta.

In this activity, Karisya Ichsanti Putri who is a PMR Trainer at SMAN 110 Jakarta also played a role as a resource. This training also presented Warjono, as Commander of the BPBD Platoon for DKI Jakarta Province, North Jakarta Regional Coordinator, which provides material related to basic rescue techniques using the vertical rescue method.

Vertical rescue is a rescue technique used in emergency situations involving vertical terrain, like a cliff, tall building, or locations with difficult access. At a training session, participants were introduced to the basics of vertical rescue, including the types of equipment used in the rescue process, as well as safety procedures that must be observed when carrying out rescue operations.

Apart from the presentation of the material, This activity is also equipped with direct practice sessions. The participants had the opportunity to try and practice the use of several equipment used in vertical rescue techniques with assistance from the instructors. Through this practice, Students can understand directly how basic rescue procedures are carried out safely and effectively.

This activity received assistance from Mrs. Maemunah, who helped ensure that the training was carried out in an orderly manner and provided support to the participants during the activity.

Through this training, expected to be members of PMR SMAN 110 Jakarta can increase basic knowledge and skills in the field of disaster management and rescue, while increasing students' preparedness in dealing with emergency situations. This activity is also a form of positive collaboration between schools and government agencies in providing disaster education to the younger generation.
